The Cottage is a wonderful 1200 sq. ft. accommodation with two bedrooms, bath with a 6' long antique clawfoot tub/shower, a full kitchen, and a great room. There is also a covered front porch with a swing and rocking chairs.... and an enclosed sun porch on the back.
The Master bedroom has a queen bed and antique dresser. The second bedroom has two twin beds with antique wood frames.
The Greatroom is furnished with a sofa and love seat, a round oak table with four chairs, large bookcase, cable TV/vcr, and shelf stereo system with CD player.
The Cottage is surrounded on three sides by mature trees and almost 3 acres of yard. It is so nice to look from your window and see grass, trees, and usually, horses. The view of the sunset from The Cottage is breathtaking.
Business travelers love the convenient location of The Cottage at Silver Springs Farm. They can be downtown Lexington one minute, and then 5 miles/10 minutes away is their peaceful, private retreat.
The Kentucky Horse Park is just about a 5 minute drive along a back road that is part of our local driving tour. Easy back and forth for those competing in or attending events at the Horse Park. Compete all day, then come home and take a good soak in that long, deep clawfoot tub!
The Cottage is sometimes available for extended stays. The Cottage has central air-conditioning. The Cottage is a smoke free facility. PETS are considered on an individual basis.
RATES for The Cottage are based on number of factors: time of year, number of occupants, length of stay, etc. There is normally a two night minimum stay required. We try to accommodate one night stays when possible. In general, for stays of two or more nights, the rate is $249 per night single/double occupancy....$299 per night for up to four people. (Rolex weekend excepted) Additional occupants considered on an individual basis. Rates do not include tax. Single nights may be at a higher rate.
